Unlike College Football 25, which ended an 11-year drought since the last release, fans only had to wait one year for College Football 26. That being said, fans are no longer willing to wait and want Early Access.
College Football 25 was 2024’s best-selling video game for months before being overtaken by Black Ops 6. CFB 25 also became the best-selling sports video game of all time in the United States, surpassing NBA 2K21. College Football 26 follows up on that massive success story and makes several community-requested changes.
Most notably, CFB 26 adds over 300 real-world coaches, introduces crossplay Online Dynasty, adds the ability to play in high school for Road to Glory, and adds “thousands” of brand-new plays. If you can’t wait to play the upcoming installment, let’s jump right into what you need to know about Early Access.
Can You Play College Football 26 Early Access?

College Football 26 has Early Access, starting on July 7, but only for the Deluxe Edition and MVP Bundle.
The Deluxe Edition is priced at $99.99, while the MVP Bundle costs $149.99. The appeal of purchasing the MVP Bundle is that you also get the Deluxe Edition of Madden 26, which features three days of Early Access as well.
The Standard Edition, which costs $69.99, does not have Early Access, meaning you will have to wait until June 10.
Does College Football 26 Have a Demo?
College Football 26 does not have a demo.
EA sometimes invites players to test out games early and provide feedback in closed demo builds, but that is not the case for this franchise. There wasn’t a demo for College Football 25, and all signs point to there not being one for this upcoming installment as well.
For FC 25, EA introduced Showcase, which is a free version of the game that features Kick-Off, Clubs, and Clubs Rush with limited progression. Throughout the year, EA added more content to the free version of the game. It’s unclear if EA intends to introduce a similar feature to College Football 26 post-launch.
