A new soccer title is on the horizon with the release of Rematch, providing three-vs-three action for you and friends, and we’ve got all the details on whether crossplay is available.
Releasing on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 on June 19, Rematch impressed in our early hands-on and, with the soccer season over for Europe’s top leagues, provides the perfect fix to keep you occupied in the months ahead.
Crossplay is an important feature in modern gaming, allowing friends to play together regardless of their platform, and you can find everything you need to know about the feature in Rematch here.
Is Rematch Crossplay?

No, Rematch does not offer crossplay as a feature at launch. However, a post on the game’s official X account (formerly Twitter) stated that introducing it is one of Sloclap’s “top priorities right now.”
Last month’s beta announcement confirmed Rematch would prioritize the feature ahead of the full release, but that has not been possible. As such, crossplay will not be available initially.
In the same post, it was added that the feature would arrive shortly after launch if it was not possible to have crossplay ready for the initial launch.
It also remains to be seen what crossplay options will be available, and whether those consoles will be able to turn off crossplay connection with those on PC.
No timeframe has been shared for when players can expect crossplay to be added to Rematch, so keep an eye on social channels.
Does Rematch Have Cross-Platform Progression?
No, there is no news on cross-platform progression being available for Crossplay, so we assume the feature is not available.
Though it could be added at a later date, Sloclap’s priority right now is introducing crossplay, and cross-progression would come later down the line, if at all.
If cross-progression is in the pipeline, Sloclap have remained tight-lipped for now, but keep an eye on social channels for news on future updates with the title.
Although there is no official cross-progression, you can utilize features like Xbox and PlayStation’s streaming options to PC, if you want to play at your desk, for example.
For those on the go, Rematch is expected to be playable on Steam Deck, although it has not been officially verified for the handheld platform, and you may encounter problems as a result.
