Chrono Odyssey is an upcoming MMORPG, open-world, action game, developed by Chrono Studio. The developers are hosting a Steam playtest for the title from June 20-22, 2025.
Chrono Odyssey is developed on Unreal Engine 5. The title features a seamless open world and focuses on dynamic action-based combat mechanics based on time manipulation and extensive customisation. The open world features different biomes to explore, including snow lands, swamps, and more. Interested players can now request access to the Steam playtest.
The standout ability in Chrono Odyssey is the Chronotector, which allows players to stop time around monsters or rewind a character’s time for more dynamic combat. Players can also use this tool to explore the past generations of the open world, before the significant environmental and historical events took place.
There are many dungeons and raids for players to explore, with challenging bosses waiting to be faced. Players can face these dungeons with their friends or solo, and there are different types of rewards for dungeons, group dungeons, and PvP content. To thrive in this world’s economy, players must participate in various activities too, like harvesting, logging, mining, and skinning. Lastly, there is extensive character customisation you can get into, including gender, body types, facial features, hairstyles, makeup, scars, and much more.
