The Lies of P: Overture DLC was shadow dropped at today’s Summer Game Fest event. You can play it right now!
The Overture expansion for Lies of P is available today, June 6, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Players can purchase it now. The shadow drop announcement came during the SGF showcase, and a new trailer provided a fresh look at the gameplay and story for the DLC.
You Can Play Lies of P: Overture DLC Right Now
With all the previews and trailers, players have been eagerly waiting for the release date for the Lies of P’s Overture expansion. We already know that the DLC will serve as a prequel to the base game and will be accessible after chapter 9. The expansion includes cut content from the first game, and the developers feel that with this DLC, they can deliver the game as it was supposed to be experienced.
The developers have also informed players about some significant changes to the title due to the Overture expansion. Players will have new difficulty options now, which the developers feel will help the title reach a wider audience and let different types of players experience the game. Also, there are two new boss rush modes. One allows you to take on the game’s challenging enemies across different difficulty levels, whereas the other lets players take on a gauntlet of bosses with limited resources.
