Old and new fans get to experience Persona 4 again with a remake, and Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase 2025 event could be the place we see the long-awaited reveal take place, if a report is to be believed.
Before we even get to the Xbox Games Showcase 2025 set-piece, the Persona 4 Remake rumor train started rolling in March 2025. A domain was registered hinting at a Persona 4 Remake. Its main website got updated, and now multiple reports all seem to suggest the announcement is within our grasp.
Xbox Games Showcase Could Reveal Persona 4 Remake
MP1st announced on June 5 that a Persona 4 Remake announcement was locked in for the June 8 Xbox Games Showcase. Now, Windows Central has reportedly corroborated this report.
MP1st was told: “Persona 4 Remake will be revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 8. It’s planned for release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC,” and Windows Central has followed this up: “We can further corroborate the report that, according to our own sources, the game will be announced during the showcase.“
If this happens, expect a Persona 4 Remake to get the full treatment that Persona 3 Reloaded received: Cleaner visuals, updated mechanics, and a faithful updating of a JRPG classic.
