Featuring a detailed story and a host of narrative-driven events against other races, JDM: Japanese Drift Master is one to keep an eye on and dive into if you’re eagerly in need of a racing fix.

There are some restrictions on platform availability for JDM: Japanese Drift Master, however, as we’ve explained in this guide.

Yes, JDM: Japanese Drift Master is available on PC.

Featuring over 250km of roads, JDM: Japanese Drift Master is set in the fictional Guntama prefecture, inspired by real and well-known locations, with heavily urbanised areas along with downhill mountain passes.

The game includes a host of licensed cars to drive and customize, featuring the likes of Mazda, Honda, Nissan, and Subaru.

JDM: Japanese Drift Master is available through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG, so there’s a wealth of options for storefronts, but it may not be playable on Steamdeck, so make sure you check before purchase.

As for multiplayer, leaderboards are in place to compete with other players, though you can’t race against them directly yet, but there is a split-screen mode for you to “battle it out on custom tracks to see who’s the ultimate driver.”

On PC, you can also use wheels and other peripherals, if you want, to increase the simulation experience. The likes of Logitech, Thrustmaster, and PXN are all supported.

Is JDM: Japanese Drift Master on PlayStation or Xbox?

No, JDM: Japanese Drift Master is not available on PlayStation or Xbox platforms and is currently a PC-only title.

That looks likely to change in the future, however, as a statement on the official website said that while the current focus is to “deliver a top-quality PC version,” the developer is “constantly looking into possibilities for a future console release.”

There’s no timeframe for when JDM: Japanese Drift Master will release on other platforms aside from PC, though, with players told to follow announcements on the official Discord server and other social media channels for any details as they emerge.

Other titles developed by Gaming Factory are available on platforms outside of PC, including Puppet House and Castle Flipper, while other games like Zookeeper and Foodtruck Arena have ‘TBA’ listed alongside console availability.

That’s all a good sign for JDM: Japanese Drift Master’s availability on console in the future, so we’ll just need to be patient.
