How to Get The Invictus Type A in Roadcraft

Roadcraft is finally here with a huge fleet of vehicles to get behind the wheel of, though the Hummer-inspired Invictus Type A isn’t available for everyone.

A successor to the highly successful Snowrunner, Roadcraft has plenty of elements that will be familiar to returning players of the franchise, though it’s also easy to pick up for anyone new to the scene.

The Invictus Type A is the most recognizable Scout vehicle, and we’ve got the details on how to add it to your fleet.

Only owners of the Rebuild Edition of Roadcraft can purchase the Invictus Type A vehicle.

If you have not purchased the Rebuild Edition, there is no way to own the Invictus Type A and, instead, you will need to settle for one of the many other vehicles available.

However, you must purchase the Invictus Type A from the Shop, as it is not immediately available to those with the Rebuild Edition.

To purchase the Invictus Type A, or any other vehicle, head to your Garage and toggle the menu to the ‘Shop’ tab. The Invictus Type A costs $35,000.

While this may seem like a lot at first, especially when compared to the other Scout vehicles available to purchase early on, it’s an amount that’s quick to earn—and you can always sell vehicles later down the line.

I’d highly recommend picking up the Invictus Type A as one of the first vehicles purchased, as it’s perfect for exploring the map and quickly reaching objectives.

Can You Upgrade to The Rebuild Edition?

Yes, Saber Interactive confirmed you can upgrade to the Rebuild Edition to receive the additional benefits. On the Microsoft Store, the Rebuild Edition is available to purchase separately for $14.99.

Alongside the Invictus Type A, which is available immediately, the Rebuild Edition provides access to future DLC; which brings new maps, new vehicles, and new mission types.

The two new maps, Contamination and Washout, will see new mission types focused on clearing up chemical spills and pumping out floodwater from affected areas, alongside others.

The five vehicles being added include the Vostok MU-97 “Ant” and the Tayga 6455B, which can be used to deploy makeshift bridges.

Full details on the release dates for the Rebuild DLC have not been shared, but we expect to hear more in the near future now that Roadcraft has fully released.
