There’s Already Over 100 Different Mods For Oblivion Remastered

Following the release of the worst kept secret in gaming, that being Oblivion Remastered, modders are already hard at work coming up with mods for the game.

At the time of writing and on the Nexus Mods platform, there’s now over 100 different mods available for Oblivion Remastered, despite Bethesda announcing that there will not be any official support.

At the time of writing, the majority of the mods seem to focus on improved visuals such as textures and the HUD, however gameplay mods such as faster levelling, lower fatigue, and even some cosmetic changes have also been added.

Oblivion Remastered has already proven a massive success for Virtuos and Bethesda according to Steam charts, with over 180,000 concurrent players purchasing and downloading the game. It’s an impressive feat for a weekday, not to mention that the game is also available on Xbox and PC Game Pass.

In its reveal announcement and release yesterday, it was said that Oblivion Remastered has been completely rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 with stunning new visuals and plenty of newly recorded dialogue.

Yet the games success hasn’t come without some criticism, as fans of the game voiced their frustration over having to pay extra for the new horse armor quest DLC, which is locked behind the games deluxe edition.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is now available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
