Bungie has announced that the full reveal of Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate will take place next month.
In a post on social media, the developer said it will hold a special Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate reveal event on Tuesday, May 6 at Noon ET/9am PT. In addition to The Edge of Fate, Bungie will also be announcing its plans for the “upcoming year of Destiny 2”.
No other details, however, were revealed by the team.
This latest expansion for Destiny 2 is expected to be what was given the codename Apollo. As part of the roadmap released by Bungie back in September, Apollo was scheduled to release sometime in Summer 2025. Apollo is planned to be a paid expansion with new stories, locations, missions and more. However, it won’t be the only update coming to the game.
Bungie is also planning another full expansion called Behemoth for Winter 2025 along with a number of major updates throughout the year. In total, there will be two expansions and four major seasonal updates coming to the game this year.
And, based on the social media tease, the seasonal updates should be revealed, at least in some fashion, as part of the event on May 6.
