It has been claimed by ever-increasing pain in the backside for Activision, TheGhostofHope, that there are at least 9 more Modern Warfare 2 gamemodes coming.
It’s not unusual to see new Call of Duty modes added throughout the lifecycle of the game, but according to Hope, Infinity Ward is set to bring back several classic modes.
Unreleased Modern Warfare 2 Gamemodes:
- Reinforce
- Drop Zone
- Gun Game
- Infected
- Uplink
- Cranked
- Cyber Attack
- Team Defender
- Grind
It’s unclear if TheGhostofHope has leaked the following modes from sources, or via the in-game files of Modern Warfare 2.
One of the modes, Uplink, which was a fan-favorite in Call of Duty Advanced Warfare could involve a FIFA World Cup gamemode, after it was revealed that footballers will be coming to the game as operators.
Modes like Gun Game and Cranked have also been fan-favorites throughout the years, so it’s predictable that the modes should come to Modern Warfare 2 throughout its 2-year cycle.
Unfortunately, TheGhostofHope didn’t reveal when these modes will be coming to the game. As past Call of Duty titles has entailed, it’s likely that these modes will be coming to the game throughout the games Seasons.
Warzone 2.0, Call of Duty’s new Battle Royale experience is set to launch on November 16 with the start of Modern Warfare 2 Season 1.
