The Nintendo Switch 2 release date for 007 First Light has been leaked ahead of an official announcement, with gamers on the platform not having to wait too much longer for its arrival.
007 First Light launched across multiple platforms on May 27, but gamers on Nintendo Switch 2 have had to wait a little while longer to get their hands on the IO Interactive title.
However, while not officially confirmed, one retailer has leaked the release date for the title on Switch 2, with just a few weeks to go until it lands.
007 First Light Launches Sept. 16 on Switch 2
A listing for the title on the Amazon Japan website has the release date for 007 First Light on Nintendo Switch 2 as September 16, and there’s no reason as to why this would be incorrect.
Spotted by users on the GamingLeaksAndRumours Reddit, the release date shows 007 First Light lands on Switch 2 during a busy period for gaming fans.
The Switch 2 launch comes a day after Marvel’s Wolverine on PlayStation 5, a few days before LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on Switch 2, and 12 days after the launch of Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
Given Amazon Japan has gone live with the release date, an official confirmation from IO Interactive can’t be too far away, though it’s clear the website has jumped the gun with the reveal.
