Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Getting One Last Trailer Before Launch

Nintendo has announced that the third and final trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be revealed tomorrow in a live stream.

Details surrounding tomorrow’s stream are scarce at the moment with Nintendo only stating that the trailer will be three minutes long. The decision to include the trailer as part of a live stream perhaps suggests that there will be a few surprises included in the trailer or a substantial announcement that could be made during the stream.

Nintendo has closely guarded Tears of the Kingdom and recently filed a DMCA subpoena after a 200-page artbook for the game was leaked on Discord. The leak accorded back in February and was quickly taken down after a DMCA takedown request from Nintendo but it looks like the gaming giant is looking to take things one step further by pursuing legal action against the leaker. The case is currently ongoing but the subpoena filing states:

“[Nintendo of America] is requesting the attached proposed subpoena that would order Discord Inc. to disclose the identity, including the name(s), address(es), telephone number(s), and e-mail addresses(es) of the user Julien#2743, who is responsible for posting infringing content that appeared at the following channel Discord channel Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The most revealing look at Tears of the Kingdom came last month in an official Nintendo Direct which featured 10 minutes of gameplay footage. The game looks to be a worthy successor to Breath of the Wild and features a redesigned Hyrule, new abilities for Link to utilize like weapon fusion, elemental arrows, and the emergence of the mysterious Sky Islands.

What do you expect from tomorrow’s live stream and final trailer?
