Newly leaked images have surfaced online that allegedly show a new Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom OLED Switch. The images were first posted to famiboards and then re-posted on the /r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit.
It’s unclear if the images are real or not, but the images are yet to be DMCA’d by Nintendo, which could confirm their authenticity.
It appears that the console does not come with the game itself, suggesting that it could release prior to the game’s release date on May 12.
Interestingly, the images, if real, suggest that Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will not be the first title to release on a brand-new Nintendo Switch, which has been rumored for some time.
Insider Gaming predicts that a new Nintendo Switch console will be announced in 2023, but the release timeframe of the console is unclear.
