In an uncommon move, EA Sports has removed EA Sports FIFA 23 and earlier versions of the series from digital storefronts. That means you can’t buy EA Sports FIFA on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or PC.
The move seemingly coincides with the release of EA Sports FC 24, the first game without the FIFA license.
“At the request of the publisher, EA Sports FIFA 23 is unlisted on the Steam store and will not appear in search,” the game’s store page reads.
If you search for the game on the PlayStation store, you’ll only find EA Sports FC 24 for purchase. But don’t worry, you can still buy your FUT FIFA Points for FIFA 23. They wouldn’t want to take that away from players.
If you do want to play an older game in the formerly FIFA series, you can do so via EA Play.
Insider Gaming has reached out to EA Sports for clarification on the decision and will update this story should a response be received.
