Xbox is currently experiencing a major outage, affecting the streaming apps on consoles, and cloud saves seem to be affected, too.
Xbox just revealed the Game Pass Wave 2 titles for February 2026, including The Witcher 3, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and more. However, that’s not the only update from Xbox today, as some of the console’s services are currently experiencing an outage. Check out more details below.
Xbox Consoles Face Streaming App Outage
If you head over to the Xbox Support website right now, you will see that Xbox Apps and Mobile are facing a major outage, and game saves are unavailable. When viewing which apps are impacted, these include the likes of Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, and other streaming applications. In the issue details, it states that players “may have problems launching apps.” The problems have been experienced on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles.
Regarding Game Saves, it appears this service is unavailable, but the outage is “Limited”. In the details of this report, it states that players may have problems syncing game saves to the cloud. All of the issues have been identified by Xbox support; however, their resolution is still pending.
In other news, a new report has claimed that Microsoft could be bringing more changes to Xbox Game Pass. Additionally, AMD has stated that the next-gen Xbox console could be released next year.
