The pricing for the game has been announced, with the standard edition costing $80 and the ultimate edition priced at $100, both of which are higher than usual. However, some players have discovered a method to obtain the game for free, though it requires significant effort.
XBOX Players Can Get GTA 6 For Free, But It Involves a Grind for Microsoft Reward Points
For those who may not know, players have the opportunity to earn enough Microsoft Reward points to pre-order the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition at no cost. According to a report from Pure Xbox, one player has already done this, pre-ordering the game five months in advance using reward points he accumulated over the past three years. Another player recently posted about his efforts to do the same; he is currently saving for a $100 Xbox gift card, which requires him to gather 100,000 Microsoft Reward points.

There are several ways for players to earn Microsoft Reward Points. These include performing Bing searches, making purchases on the Microsoft Store and Xbox consoles, and completing daily tasks through the Microsoft Rewards dashboard. However, it’s not easy to accumulate enough points to purchase GTA 6; it can take months to gather enough points for a $100 purchase.
