‘Wolverine’ Actor Lands Role in Grand Theft Auto 6

The notion of who’s who in Grand Theft Auto 6 is one of the most talked-about topics in recent years. Every time Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive unveil some new media, everyone starts digging into who could possibly be playing the characters slowly being revealed in the game that’s coming later this year.

In the most recent discovery, eagle-eyed fans learned that Brett Gipson, the actor behind Sabertooth in the upcoming Wolverine, released in September, has a supporting role in Grand Theft Auto 6.

Brett Gipson is in GTA 6 as ‘Ellis’

Brett Gipson, who’ll be bursting onto PlayStation consoles in September as Sabertooth in the highly anticipated release of Marvel’s Wolverine, has a role in Grand Theft Auto 6. This is shaping up to be one hell of a year for him where a payday is concerned, as he was also in Netflix’s new Stranger Things game, and he had a role in Borderlands 4.

In Gipson’s resumé, available on Actors Access, it’s stated clearly that he voices a character called Ellis in Grand Theft Auto 6, which is slated to drop on November 19th.

This isn’t a character that has been revealed, so fans naturally took to social media to start piecing together their predictions. The scope of Grand Theft Auto 6 is so staggering that we’ll likely see dozens, if not hundreds, of these revelations surface in the coming months.

If there’s one thing Rockstar Games loves to do, it’s weaving cameos into Grand Theft Auto games. Brett Gipson is likely the first in a long line of established actors yet to reveal roles in GTA 6.

Gipson only recently got into video games, and much of his career has been spent in traditional film and television. His resumé is already sparkling in the gaming space, though. His debut slate has taken him across some of the biggest franchises in the modern entertainment space, and that bodes very well.
