Witchfire was revealed a long time ago – back in 2017, to be precise. Today, during the Summer Game Fest, a new trailer was dropped for the game, going hand-in-hand with an early access release date – September 20th, 2023.
Earlier this year, a new gameplay trailer was showcased for Witchfire, but during today’s showcase, another snippet was revealed – but the most important takeaway here is the fact that prospective fans will be able to get their hands on it very soon.
Witchfire Is Coming on September 20th
Developed by The Astronauts, Witchfire offers up exciting gunplay fused with spell crafting – it’s high-octane, exciting, and it looks really good. It’s unique, too – it’ll be a seamless game with no cutscenes and some roguelike elements that make it more challenging than your average first-person shooter.
It’s releasing exclusively on the Epic Games Store later this year – in early access, at least.
