There are a handful of upcoming games on the horizon that I genuinely cannot wait for. I annoy those around me frequently talking about them, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is one such game. It looks beyond phenomenal. And so, we all must ask ourselves, when does Space Marine 2 release? Here’s your answer!
What is the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Release Date?
Barring any further delays, the official Space Marine 2 release date is September 9, officially announced at Summer Game Fest. Should you pre-order the game, which allows for four days of early access, you can download and play on September 5. If you want early access and other bonuses, you must pay for the Gold Edition or Ultra Edition, which clocks in at $89.99 and $99.99, respectively.
If you weren’t already excited enough, or perhaps you’re still on the fence about buying the game, the team recently unveiled the multiplayer modes, including PvE missions and a PvP mode with 6v6 gameplay. You can check that out here:

What is the Space Marine 2 Pre-Order Bonus?
If you choose to pre-order Space Marine 2, and I certainly don’t blame you because it looks exceptional, you’ll receive a handful of pre-order bonuses. These bonuses include:
- 4-Day Early Access Unlock (Gold and Ultra Editions)
- Macragge’s Chosen DLC
- Ultramarines-inspired Skin Set
- Bolt Rifle
- Chainsaord
- Crus Terminatus Pauldron
- Ultramarines-inspired Skin Set
Furthermore, while it’s not a pre-order bonus, you’ll receive the Season Pass if you purchase the Gold or Ultra Edition of the game. With the Ultra Edition, you’ll also unlock the Ultramarines Champion Pack, though we’re not entirely sure what the bonus DLC includes.
