The game might be delayed a bit, but you can still get your fix with nine minutes of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor gameplay.
The gameplay was released via IGN as part of its “IGN First” series.
The video showcases one of the game’s new planets. Returning main character Cal Kestis explores the planet of Koboh looking for help after crashing his ship into the planet.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Gameplay Video
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor takes place five years after the events of Fallen Order. In the game, players will control Kestis as he fights to stay alive against the Galactic Empire.
“No longer a Padawan, Cal has matured and grown into a powerful Jedi Knight,” EA says. “As the memories and expectations of the Jedi Order weigh on him, his crusade against the Empire has only become more perilous. It’s time for Cal to decide how far he’s willing to go to save those closest to him.”
While the gameplay will largely remain the same as the first entry, players will learn various new skills and abilities to survive. New Force abilities and fighting styles will also make your journey a much different experience than what Fallen Order offered players.
In development by Respawn Entertainment, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launches April 28 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. For those wondering, there has been no word as of publishing regarding the game coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one.
