Warzone 2 Hits 25 Million Players in 5 Days

Activision has reported via the official Call of Duty Twitter account that Warzone 2 has surpassed 25 million players in its first 5 days.

The news comes after it was reported in a Virgin Media O2 press release that the company saw its busiest day on record for gaming following Warzone 2’s release.

The original Warzone, which will soon be renamed Warzone Caldera hit 30 million players within its first 10 days, so it could be a close battle to see if Warzone 2 can top the original.

A Warzone 2 competitor, Apex Legends, saw the game hit 25 million players within 7 days and 50 million players within its first month.

The relaunch of the original Warzone as Warzone Caldera is expected to go live at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST on Nov. 28 with the removal of its resurgence maps.

It’s been previously suggested that a new Warzone resurgence map will be coming to Warzone 2 in 2023.

Are you one of the 25 million people now playing Warzone 2?
