WARDOGS Season 3 Arrives Next Week, Bringing a New Map and Multi-Track Unlocks

Bulkhead Studios has revealed that WARDOGS’ third season is coming next week, landing globally on November 12th. You’ll have a few days to play it before Grand Theft Auto 6 comes out, which the studio’s CEO recently advised you go off and play while Bulkhead takes a month out of the office.

The new Season 3 update adds a new map, Sabatulo, which introduces ‘urban warfare and close-quarters combat.’ The full patch notes are yet to drop, but in a new video, the team talked about some of the key features of the third season.

WARDOGS Expands in Season 3

Sabatulo is the beating heart of the third season of WARDOGS. It’s a small-form environment that features tight corridors, narrow angles, and, most importantly, all the players involved will be seeing the map for the first time at the same time. They’ll be learning it together, which the studio has said is nothing but a good thing.

Multi-track unlocks are now coming, which means certain items will be unlockable via multiple tracks, which makes it easier to unlock things you desire without having to grind roles you might not want to play. Items that suit more than one role will appear on multiple tracks.

The team said, ‘Play the role you want, and the unlocks will come to you.’

Additionally, a new feature called Limited Servers is coming with the third season. These are tweaked servers that offer an alternate way to experience the All-Out Warfare that makes up WARDOGS. Limited Mode tightens the ammo types, weapons, armour tiers, and vehicles available to customers. All cash and XP earned here can be spent in the ‘default mode’, too.

It’s a ‘purist, Small-Out Warfare mode,’ the team said.

In the video published to reveal Season 3, the studio’s CEO, Joe Brammer, spoke about anti-cheat and the number of players they’re banning these days. He confirmed that anti-cheat systems had to be brought online earlier to counter the sheer volume of players getting into the game.

They were transparent and said that 185,000 accounts had been banned in the latest anti-cheat wave, and they showed where in the world most of these cheaters are coming from. The conversation then turned to review bombing, with the team stressing that the number of reviews for WARDOGS isn’t representative of the number of people playing the game and enjoying it.

In a line, they requested that people leave a review, regardless of how they feel, because it’s not just the positive reviews that make a difference. Honest, critical reviews are just as important.
