Stage 2 of the Valorant Champions Tour is well underway, and the playoff pictures are emerging across all regions.

Valorant Masters London winners crush VCT Americas Stage 2 opposition

Week 2 of VCT Americas Stage 2 saw Leviatán drop an average of only 5.5 rounds per map as they swept both EG and ENVY to claim a 3-0 record in groups.
Frontrunners NRG and 100 Thieves also retain a 100% record, at 2-0 in groups, after clean victories in a week where every contest went 2-0.

In contrast, ENVY sit 0-3 as they await their inevitable Tier 1 death, with FURIA, KRÜ, and Cloud9 also without wins so far in Stage 2.
C9’s defeat against Sentinels in Week 1 saw Jordan ‘Zellsis’ Montemurro express exasperation with his teammates’ communication, calling for more control in the server, stating, “We play my way. My f*cking way.”
That did not lead to immediate success in Week 2, falling to G2, who recovered from their Week 1 defeat to 100 Thieves to sit 1-1 in Groups.

Following the first week of VCT EMEA Stage 2, the picture was as clear as mud with almost no discernible pattern across the board. That changed in Week 2, as the groups slowly shifted into shape.
After a Week 1 victory over FUT and defeat to Vitality, NAVI’s season decisively fell on the negative side after defeats to Gentle Mates and BBL in Week 2.
Now holding a 1-3 record, NAVI’s Champions chances will rely on a vanishingly thin path through Play-Ins, drawing an apology from CS and Valorant legend, and now NAVI coach Kyrylo ‘ANGE1’ Karasov, who took the blame for the lack of individual play in their matches.
On the positive side, FUT’s third win on the bounce put them where they expected to be, on top of the group and looking to top the group in their final contest against Vitality in Week 3.
Vitality, BBL, Gentle Mates, and FUT all remain in contention for Group Alpha’s top 2 that will see a direct playoff berth. By contrast, PCIFIC’s 0-3 record seems unlikely to be recovered with NAVI and BBL in their way.
As for Group Omega, the picture is still largely unclear going into the final week of groups. The majority of rosters won one of their two contests and fell in the other, leaving a huge middle group of 2-1 and 1-2 teams.
Only Karmine Corp at 3-1 and Eternal Fire at 1-3 sit outside of those bounds. A huge week will follow for Fnatic as they hope to reach their first international of the year.

VCT Pacific Stage 2 saw Nongshim RedForce and Paper Rex secure wins after Week 1 defeats. Paper Rex narrowly beat a spirited DetonatioN FM over two maps before demolishing DRX 13-1, 13-6 to sit at 2-1 in Groups.
Nongshim’s first victory of the split came against an in-form Global Esports, fresh off wins against RRQ and Full Sense, but that momentum was stopped by the Valorant Masters Santiago winners, who now have it all to play for with a 1-2 record after a bruising Week 1 which saw them slip to 0-2.
T1 faltered to surprise package VARREL in their opening contest of the week, but did manage to recover against Team Secret to back up their Week 1 victory against PRX.
Elsewhere, Gen.G continued their strong start to the split by defeating a now 0-3 RRQ 2-1 to comfortably sit at 3-0 atop Group Alpha.

VCT China Stage 2 saw the conclusion of its Group Stage and its seeding matches for play-ins/playoffs take place.
NOVA, TYLOO, BLG, and XLG made up the top 4, moving directly to the playoffs, followed by seeding matches that saw NOVA and XLG take the top seedings for the playoffs.
For everyone else, the question was where they would end up in the Play-In tournament. In the end, All Gamers, FPX, JDG, EDG, Wolves, and DRG will start in the Upper Bracket Quarter-Finals, while group losers Trace and Titan will start in Upper Bracket Round 1.
The Play-Ins now await the winners of the VALORANT China National Tournament 2026: Pro Qualifier. The Tier 2 competition will feed in its winner and runner-up into the Tier 1 Play-Ins UB Round 1.
The Play-Ins will begin on August 5, with those Tier 2 teams playing Trace and Titan respectively, giving Valorant its first taste of competition between the tiers in VCT before the huge reforms set for the scene in 2027.
