Bouncy is one of the trickier achievements to unlock in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It requires the player to successfully fall 30 meters without dying – but even falling from around five meters or more will result in a sudden death in The Zone.
In this guide, I’m going to teach you how to unlock Bouncy in STALKER 2 without dying and without needing to trick the game.
Best Method for Bouncy in STALKER 2
In a game where even a small fall will kill you, successfully unlocking an achievement to fall a whopping 30 meters is a huge ask. It might seem bizarre at first, but there’s a very easy way to unlock Bouncy in STALKER 2, and you can do it without needing to expend any major effort.
In fact, you’ll almost definitely come across this solution naturally when playing the game, but I’m here to make sure you don’t miss it.
As you follow the main story, you’ll come across a mission called Chasing Ghosts, and it’s during this mission that you can unlock the Bouncy achievement.
Toward the end of the mission, you’ll have a brief fight with an enemy sniper atop a tall tower, following which you’ll need to climb that tower and complete an objective. This is where you’ll complete Bouncy.
Once you’ve done what you need to do in the tower, you’ll find yourself at the top-most level of the structure. Look for the ‘plank’ leading off the side of the building and hop down from it, getting access to the next level immediately beneath you.
From there, use the planks on the floor as a guide, look down, and jump from the side of the tower. If you land in the right spot (guided by the planks), you’ll bounce off a gravitational anomaly and land safely on the ground, unlocking the Bouncy achievement seconds later.
It’s that easy – no broken legs, no untimely deaths to deal with, and no scouring the wasteland for a way to unlock Bouncy in STALKER 2.
