Undisputed developer Steel City Interactive is growing as the company has announced it’s opening a new studio.
Located in Leamington Spa in England, this second “satellite studio” will work alongside the original team in Sheffield on the company’s projects. That includes work on Undisputed and wherever the franchise goes in the future.
“As we build on the success of Undisputed and look to the future of the franchise, we wanted a second location that would attract senior talent and strengthen our studio network alongside our HQ in Sheffield – Leamington Spa fits these criteria,” Steel City VP of studio, Tim Coupe, said.
In addition to the new studio opening, Steel City made changes to its leadership team. The developer appointed the following to new positions:
- Sylvain Cornillon – head of technology
- Nathan Fisher – head of art
- Alison Beasley – head of marketing and communications
- Todd Matherne – head of QA
- Anna Lapworth – head of people and culture
Since its launch in October 2024, Undisputed has surpassed 2 million players for the first major boxing game since 2011’s Fight Night Champion. The game has seen multiple updates and DLC packs released, adding to gameplay elements and fighters to the roster since its release.
