A new leak has surfaced online that states a new game in The Walking Dead universe called ‘Destinies’ will soon be launching on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X published by GameMill Entertainment.
The game comes courtesy of serial leaker and dataminer billbil-kun (via dealabs), who has a solid track record when it comes to reporting on new games and tech via datamining.
Based on the datamined information now being accessible, it suggests that The Walking Dead Destinies will be announced soon – Likely at Gamescom 2023.
According to the website, the plot of The Walking Dead: Destinies revolves around the story of the original The Walking Dead produced by AMC between seasons 1 to 4. The website continues to say that the game is a 3rd person action-adventure title where the player “has the possibility of controlling the history” and altering the original story of the TV series.
Players will be able to fight the hordes of infected with various different weapons, as well as harvesting resources, reinforcing the camp, and more.
It’s said that The Walking Dead Destinies will have over 15 characters from AMC’s The Walking Dead series, of which the website was able to recover:
- Rick
- Shane
- Michonne
- Daryl
- Blackbird
- Carol
- Carl
- Lori
- Glenn
- The Governor
- T Dog
Presumably, other characters will include the likes of Maggie, Andrea, and Hershel, who where prominent characters in the series’ earlier seasons.
The website believes that the game is scheduled to launch on November 14, 2023 and will be priced at $49.99 USD.
