The Super Mario Bros. Movie is finally set to come to Peacock. According to the NBC Universal streaming service, the movie is set to become available on August 3.
In addition to the movie itself, there will be behind-the-scenes cast interviews, a lyric music video, and a “Field Guide” that will provide bonus features for the movie.
Released in April, The Super Mario Bros. Movie quickly became a box-office success. Against a budget of $100 million, the movie grossed $1.349 billion globally, making it the highest-grossing video game film adaptation of all time. It’s also the third-highest-grossing animated film ever released.
As far as the future streaming plans, the movie is set to remain on Peacock for four months. From there, it will move to Netflix for 10 months before returning to Peacock for four more.
