The Last of Us: Four New Cast Members Confirmed For Season Two

the last of us

It has just been confirmed who will be playing the bulk of Abby’s group of friends in The Last of Us when season two drops in 2025. Presently, filming is taking place for the second season of the award-winning show, with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsay most recently being spotted on set in Canada. Today, the characters of Manny, Mel, Owen, and Nora were all confirmed as being cast.

That’s The Group

If you’ve played The Last of Us Part II, you’ll know exactly who Nora, Manny, Owen, and Mel are. They play fairly important supporting roles in the 2020 game, even though their place in the second season of the live-action series is yet to be fleshed out.

Here’s the recently revealed casting:

  • Manny – Danny Ramirez (Top Gun: Maverick)
  • Mel – Ariela Barer (Marvel’s Runaways)
  • Nora – Tati Gabrielle (Uncharted)
  • Owen – Spencer Lord (Riverdale)

Variety was the first to confirm these details in a report published today. It was revealed yesterday by Isabela Merced, who will be playing Dina in season two of The Last of Us, that she and Bella Ramsay – who plays Ellie – have a ‘palpable’ chemistry on set. That’ll work wonders for their on-screen relationship, of course – but I’m spoiling nothing.
