The Last of Us Part 1 PC port trailer has been revealed at The Game Awards:
Weirdly enough, it seems like Sony decided to port the much more recent Part 1 remake than TLOU Part 2, which has now been out for 2 and a half years.
The Last of Us Part 1 is a full remake of the original PS3 game, reimagined for the Playstation 5. Dialogues were rerecorded, the engine of TLOU 2 was used and the game looks suitably next-gen.
The original Last of Us released in 2013, so it technically comes to PC 10 years after it first was played by fans on the Playstation 3.
PC fans recently had their first change to play one of the big Naughty Dog titles when Uncharted: A Legacy of Thieves was ported to the platform.
Hopefully The Last of Us Part 2 will soon follow suit, but no announcement from Sony yet. This is the second Playstation PC port announced at tonight’s show. Just a few minutes ago we got a chance to see a confirmation that Returnal will no longer be a PS5 exclusive.
The Last of Us Part 1 will be available to play on PC when it releases in March 3rd, 2023.
