Speaking in a recent interview, P-Studio producer Wada Kazuhisa revealed that he thinks Persona 1 & 2 remakes “have to” happen.

Given how little of Persona 6 was shown off during its reveal, it’s understandable to think it’s far off, but not necessarily so.

Persona 6 has finally been announced at Summer Game Fest 2026, with the long-awaited next entry into the Persona franchise on the way.

Following the Persona 4 Revival remake announcement, P-Studio’s director has already confirmed the next new game is in the works.
