PlayStation has made a boo-boo and posted the trailer for Stellar Blade on PC earlier than expected. The two-minute showcase reveals all the upgrades coming to the PC port of the game, which represents a sizeable enhancement over the original release on PlayStation 5.
It was revealed in the trailer that Stellar Blade will come to PC on June 11, 2025.
She’s Back
Stellar Blade was one of my favourite releases of 2024. It was a game that I wouldn’t usually touch, as I hate anything challenging, but the post-apocalyptic theme spoke to me, so I dove in. I fell in love with it and rinsed the game, even taking the opportunity to leap head over heels into New Game+ and give it another go.
It was revealed in November 2024 that Stellar Blade would be releasing on PC, but Shift Up didn’t know when.
That uncertain date has now been confirmed as June 11, 2025. Reportedly, the confirmation came after PlayStation accidentally uploaded the trailer for the game on YouTube – but the ‘accidental’ claim is a bit vague.
Here’s the trailer that was circulated on social media:
Per the trailer, here are all the enhancements in Stellar Blade on PC:
- Full Dualsense controller support
- AI upscaling and frame generation
- Unlocked frame rate
- Japanese and Chinese voiceover
- Ultrawide display support
- Higher resolution textures
Stellar Blade is well worth picking up – it’s not as challenging as a traditional Soulslike, but it still has plenty of bite, and there’s a lot of meat on the bones. I’d fully recommend the title to anyone hurting for a new slash-em-up action title with a protagonist who turned many gamers feral on account of her… Body model.
