Starfield Gets FOV Slider in Latest Update

The latest Starfield update from Bethesda has added the highly requested FOV slider to the game.

The new Starfield Update, named 1.7.36 has also added the following changes:

GENERAL

  • FOV: Sliders are now available in Settings that allow players using first person or third person to adjust their FOV.

PERFORMANCE AND STABILITY

  • [PC ONLY] Improved stability for Intel Arc GPUs.
  • Various additional stability and performance improvements.

QUEST

  • Echoes of the Past: Addressed an issue where tunneling creatures could pick a location that would prevent progression.

The latest updates comes following a huge update in late September that addressed issues including various performance problems for players. According to documents leaked as part of the major Xbox leak last month, Bethesda expected to make almost $1 Billion in revenue on Starfield during its lifetime.

The game has seen huge success since its release and received “generally favorable” reviews, according to review aggregator Metacritic, and has already been nominated for several awards. Golden Joystick Awards has nominated Starfield for Best Visual Design, Best Audio, and Xbox Game of the Year.
