Following the success of Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, fans have long awaited when they could get their hands on the follow-up of the acclaimed title. Well now, thanks to the official Steam page, it appears that we have the Star Wars Jedi Survivor release date set as fans can look to get their hands on the game starting on March 15th, 2023.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor release date had been teased quite a bit in recent weeks, including by EA themselves leading up to The Game Awards this Thursday night. In fact, Insider Gaming understands that the game is likely to be shown off roughly 30 minutes into the event.
Furthermore, industry insider Jeff Grubb had reported that the highly anticipated game would be set to be released sometime before the end of EA’s financial year. That date is March 31st, so this March 15th date lines up.
What’s interesting here though, is that the Reddit post suggests that the game will release on March 15th, however when I personally clicked through to the Steam description at the time of publication, it stated that the game would be released on March 16th. So there seems to be a bit of confusion there.
In any case, we can expect to see Jedi Survivor within the first couple days in March and we should find out the official word this Thursday night during The Game Awards. The game is slated to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, as well as PC.
Insider Gaming understands that Star Wars Jedi Survivor is the first of 8 planned Star Wars games as Disney looks to release a new Star Wars themed game every 6 months.
The date discrepancy between the Reddit user who stated March 15th and this article’s author could be due to geography and time zones. It would be March 16th at 12:00am on the East Coast, and March 15th at 9:00pm on the West Coast.
