Diablo 4 is set to get a special Xbox Series X. At least, that’s what’s being claimed online by noted leaked Billbil-kun.
“A new Xbox Series X Diablo 4 Edition is on the way,” the Tweet reads. “No idea about its design, but it hasn’t the word ‘Bundle’ in its reference.”
Billbil-kun says that while there’s no announcement date that they know of yet, the system is set to release on June 6. That’s the same as Diablo 4’s standalone release.
The console, they say, will cost $559.99 in the United States.
Diablo 4 just recently wrapped up its open beta that featured all five playable classes. With the beta now in the rearview mirror, Blizzard is set to take the feedback from players to optimize the game ahead of its full launch in June. The game is set to release for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
There’s been no mention that the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass. However, should Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard go through, it could be assumed that it will appear on the service sooner or later.
