Sony Days of Play Event Coming End of May 2024, It’s Claimed

According to claims in a new report by Dealabs, Sony is planning another Days of Play event for May 29, 2024, and will “last until June 12, 2024.” The event does usually last about that long.

Reliable leaker billbil-kun also mentioned details about the potential offers coming to the new Days of Play. They expect the likely return of a PS Plus promotion across multiple tiers, possibly repeating the same discount from last year.

Dealabs further claims that “PS5, PlayStation VR2 consoles as well as DualSense” will be among the hardware sales. The report projects some of the pricing in Europe, such as DualSense Controllers being available for 49.99 euros.

Last week, Sony released a financial report confirming that PlayStation 5 sales dropped 29% YoY. Further, Sony even expects console sales to continue declining.

Dealabs could not confirm many games coming to Sony’s Days of Play event. However, it did mention the event should feature God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn for just 9.99 euros.

Fans are currently waiting for Sony to announce a God of War PC version. Fortunately, Dealabs also made claims earlier this month suggesting that something official is also coming this month. It could very well appear at the rumored PlayStation showcase expected in May 2024.

Dealabs has successfully leaked a variety of previous announcements and details, such as the Death Stranding 2 announcements in January.

At this time, Sony has not officially confirmed anything regarding the new Days of Play event or promotions.
