Sega has confirmed that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds on the Nintendo Switch 2 will come with the full game on the cartridge.
The announcement came via a Nintendo Switch 2 Q&A for the game on its website.
INTERVIEW: NASCAR 25 Interview With Producer Matt Lewis – Developer Spotlight
The game, which is scheduled to launch on September 25 for the original Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC won’t see a Switch 2 version until Holiday 2025. When it releases, it will be a digital only version before the physical version launches in early 2026.
For those who buy the Switch 1 version of the game, there will be a $10 upgrade pack available when the Switch 2 version launches with all content carrying over.
Sega will announce an exact release date for both the digital and physical versions of the game at a later time.
In addition to the Nintendo Switch 2 news, Sega released a new customization and gadgets trailer for the game. You can check that out for yourself, below.
