According to a new post on Twitter/X from Geoff Keighley, the world premiere gameplay trailer for Slitterhead will debut during Summer Game Fest 2024.
Slitterhead is the upcoming game from Keiichiro Toyama and Bokeh Game Studio. Toyama has been an industry giant for decades, and fans widely recognize them for creating Silent Hill.
Bokeh Game Studio first announced Slitterhead during The Game Awards 2021, with a very brief teaser trailer.
There have been very few notable updates since then, aside from a dev diary featuring some pre-alpha user tests. The devs posted that video in July 2023, showing more horror and potential combat mechanics.
The previous Slitterhead trailer featured tiny glimpses of gameplay, but it was mostly cinematic. It kept an aura of mystery and suspense throughout.
In fact, there wasn’t even a trailer description with minor details, which sometimes accompany big reveals. However, the teaser did mention that Slitterhead will include music from Akira Yamaoka.
At this time, Keiichiro Toyama and Bokeh Game Studio have not confirmed a release window or date for Slitterhead. Summer Game Fest would be an excellent opportunity to confirm a release window, if not a concrete date.
Slitterhead joins many other anticipated titles at Summer Game Fest 2024, which will include at least 2 hours of game showcases. The event begins on June 7, 2024, at 5 pm EST / 10 pm GMT.

I thought this would look more like Parasyte but now it looks more like Ghostwire I expected Parasyte and also the original teaser made it look like the 80’s.
