Skybound, the publisher behind the popular Invincible comic and show, has announced a brand new game within Fortnite, Invincible Universe – Rise of the Sequids.
The new game is a free-to-play, 10v10 deathmatch that ends when all players have become part of the same team.
“Unique to the Invincible universe, Sequids are parasitic creatures that latch onto, fuse with and control a host body,” Skybound says. “If a human player is killed, they respawn at the Sequid team base as a Sequid player. If a Sequid player is killed, they respawn at the human team base as a human player.”
As players play the game, a slider will track the state of the balance throughout the match.
Invincible Universe – Rise of the Sequids joins two other Invincible games within Fortnite, all of which are free to play. To access any of the three games, simply enter the following island codes:
