Control Resonant is home to some truly bizarre quest lines and content, but none of them reaches the level of The Party Won’t Stop. Not only does it feature a killer Karaoke machine that’s literally dancing people to death, but it even lets Dylan take center stage and sing his heart out.
That said, it still requires some input from you, and you’d best be a lyrical genius, as people’s lives are on the line—as well as a missable trophy.
With that in mind, here’s how to save everyone during Karaoke in Control Resonant, earning you the Be What You Want To Be trophy in the process.
Where To Find Karaoke Quest In Control Resonant
To begin the Karaoke quest in Control Resonant, head towards the “Singing Reported?” tag on the left of the West Incursion Zone.
Eventually, you’ll come across an apartment building with music blaring from inside and a dead body lying on the floor. After calling Zoe to report the abnormality, you’ll need to find a way inside and uncover what’s causing the deaths.
Unfortunately, the front door isn’t an option, as it can only be opened from within. Instead, you’ll need to reach the building through the roof. The easiest way to do this is to warp to the roadside just left of the building and go entirely upside down. Walk off the edge where gravity changes, and float across to the nearby rooftop.
Once you’re on the roof, you’ll find more dead bodies alongside a pair of blue doors that lead into the apartments below. Follow the music downstairs, and you’ll soon stumble upon a truly depressing dance party, where a Karaoke machine is forcing people to dance themselves to death. To put an end to it, you’ll need to sing along and set them free.
All Correct Karaoke Answers In Control Resonant
To save everyone during Karaoke in Control Resonant, you’ll need to select the correct lyrics throughout the entire song.
As you step up to the Karaoke machine, a song will start playing, and you’ll quickly realise that you’ll need to sing along correctly: get a lyric wrong, and someone in the crowd meets a quick end. It starts off easy, with only one choice on offer, but before long, you’ll have four words to pick from and a short amount of time to make a decision.
The key to the Karaoke segment is to choose the lyric that rhymes with the last word sung by the machine, aka the number one rule of songwriting. Still, with a ticking clock for each choice, it can be easy to slip up, and if you want to earn the Be What You Want To Be trophy, you can’t afford to make a mistake.
With that in mind, here’s the complete solution to the Karaoke puzzle in Control Resonant, including both the correct lyrics and directional input:
- Gasoline (Right)
- Stress (Left)
- So fleeting (Right)
- Too long (Up)
- Move (Left)
- Fear (Down)
- Everything (Right)
