Last year, T1 and Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok won a record third consecutive League of Legends World Championship (LoL Worlds) trophy, meaning the prestigious organisation will get even more iconic in-game skins.
Ever since that incredible triumph in a five-game series against KT Rolster, rumours have been running rampant over who T1 would pick for their next series of skins.
The release will contain Faker’s 11th skin as well as a first Worlds skin for toplaner Choi ‘Doran’ Hyeon-joon, and third LoL skins for jungler Mun ‘Oner’ Hyeon-jun, botlaner Lee ‘Gumayusi’ Min-hyeong, and support Ryu ‘Keria’ Min-seo
And now, according to Namu wiki, most of their champion choices have been locked in, with the skins expected to release in either August or September later this year.
What Champions Have T1 Picked For Their LoL Worlds 2025 skins?
According to the wiki site, the three locked-in T1 skins are:
- Doran – Ambessa
- Oner – Xin Zhao
- Faker – Galio
Namu wiki also claims that Im ‘Tom’ Jae-hyeon, who is stepping in for kkOma as T1 coach, will be receiving an in-game ward skin.
Ambessa is Doran’s signature champion and was always his most likely choice.
Oner played 30 games of Xin Zhao in 2025, almost double that of any other champion, and yet maintained a 76.7% win rate with the reworked character.
As for Faker, Mel had been a rumoured choice and then Taliyah was reported as a possible option. However, it now appears that he will select Galio, a champion he almost picked in the past.
Another change has reportedly be made by Keria as well, who was previously rumoured to pick Neeko but now has apparently chosen Seraphine.
Meanwhile Gumayusi, who now plays for Hanwha Life Esports, is seemingly set to stick with Yunara as his first pick and Miss Fortune for his prestige skin. After being awarded the MVP award for the LoL Worlds final, the Korean ADC was entitled to a second skin.
