With all of the rumors, reports, and scuttlebutt surrounding Xbox right now, a new one regarding the company’s plans for exclusives has made the rounds.

Xbox Moving Forward With Exclusives
In a reply to Windows Central’s Jez Corden on Twitter, Xbox Chief Strategy Officer Matthew Ball called the rumors “false”. He said that in addition to the already confirmed upcoming exclusives, there will be more in the years to come.
“These rumors are false,” Ball said. “Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution will stay exclusive. There are no conversations and have been no conversations to ‘reverse course.’
“And as we said last week, players can continue to expect signature exclusives from us every year.”
Major Changes Coming to Xbox
As mentioned, there are a lot of reports surrounding Xbox right now. Insider Gaming recently confirmed with internal sources that the company was planning to close South of Midnight developer Compulsion Games. In addition, other studios facing closure include Ninja Theory and Double Fine. I’ve also been told that Arkane Lyon is a studio at risk.
Efforts, however, are being made to keep them open in some way.
