If you’ve been eagerly awaiting news on RoboCop: Rogue City, you might be happy to hear that the game’s release date might have been leaked.
The game’s store page on Amazon UK currently lists June 30 as a launch date. While it could be a placeholder, the date falls on a Friday. In recent years, Fridays have been the day of choice for studios to launch new titles, giving players the weekend to enjoy the game.
Back in 2022, the game was announced as having a June 2023 release date. That lends even more credence to the June 30th date.
RoboCop: Rogue City publisher Nacon is set to hold a Nacon Direct presentation on March 9. The game is expected to be a part of the event.
RoboCop: Rogue City sees you take control of the titular character with the goal of protecting the city of Detroit.
From Nacon:
“Armed with your trusty Auto-9, factory-built strength, years of experience on the force, and a variety of tools at your disposal, you will fight forces seeking to destroy the city you call home in an all-new first-person, explosive hunt for the truth. You have the power to decide how to fulfill prime directives in your own way, but as the story unfolds proceed with caution because corruption and greed know no limits.“
When it releases, the game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Insider Gaming has reached out to Nacon for comment on the potential RoboCop: Rogue City release date. This story will be updated should a response be received.
