Logitech PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE—Faster Than The Fastest Review

Grant Taylor-Hill

October 2, 2026

Earlier this year, I got hands-on (literally) with Logitech’s PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE mouse, then dubbed the fastest esports mouse ever made because of one incredible piece of technology. The SUPERSTRIKE used (and still uses) a HITS click system to kind of remove the traditional mouse click, providing milliseconds-faster reaction times.

The new PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE has been in my hands for a bit, and I’m happy to report that it’s even faster and lighter than it was before. It’s just as attractive as it was before, and now it comes in a candy pink color, if that’s more your speed. But ultimately, this is without a doubt just about the fastest gaming mouse you’re going to find anywhere in the world right now.

Read on to scope out my full Logitech PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE review.

How Fast is Fast?

In my review for the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE, which surfaced in February 2026, I wrote:

I’d say the Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE is well worth the money, but it’s more for enthusiasts and pro players than the average gamer. If you’re not playing cutting-edge competitive titles like Counter-Strike or VALORANT, where microseconds of advantage over your opponents matter, you’ll see little benefit from the HITS clicking system.

That fact still stands. If you’re not a cutting-edge elite pro player, you’re probably not going to be as attracted to the X3 SUPERSTRIKE. It really is being marketed to players who need microseconds of advantage over their opponents, and for $199.99, it’s obviously a super-premium piece of kit.

In the X3 SUPERSTRIKE, the HITS technology that made the X2 SUPERSTRIKE such a success is back, but Logitech has spent time making it even better. If you can believe it, the entire mouse is faster and lighter than before, boasting a new ‘NxLOGI’ chipset that enables blistering-fast click speeds.

Actuation and rapid trigger mechanics have been finessed with this iteration, and, like before, the consultancy capabilities of more than 100 pro players have been considered in the design of this mouse.

You’ve got the upgraded HERO 2 sensor that is also available in the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 and the PRO 2 LIGHTSPEED, which accommodates up to 44,000 DPI, perfect for those twitch shooters, and with a battery that lasts a whopping 135 hours, thanks to intelligent features that reduce consumption, you can run concurrent sessions for days without needing to recharge.

The PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE is clean and simple, but it’s what’s under the hood that matters the most

In terms of deeper specifications, you’ve got a maximum polling rate of 8 kHz, 930 IPS when tested on Logitech’s own gaming surfaces, and 90 G max acceleration.

And then, in terms of my opinion, I do love the SUPERSTRIKE. I think it’s a brilliant device for those who need it, but I don’t really need it. I’m a huge fan of Logitech peripherals and rock the G502 X PLUS because of the larger form factor and the wider array of buttons (and the tasty RGB hit), so the SUPERSTRIKE doesn’t fit my profile as a gamer.

I also have never really gotten used to not having ‘a click’, which is the driving thing you think of when considering the SUPERSTRIKE range.

If you’re in the market for quite literally the fastest and best mouse as a top-tier esports player, then this is probably the one. It’s absolutely built for competition in every sense of the phrase, and I can’t think of anything out there that trumps it when it comes to response times and connectivity.

But, yeah, it’s $20 more expensive than the last one was when it hit the market, so consider that, perhaps. It’s one of the most expensive gaming mice you can buy right now, but the technology arguably balances that out.
