Logitech’s Pro X Superlight 2C is one of the daintiest mice you’ll ever use. It weighs just 53 grams and boasts an incredibly small form factor that still manages to feature up to 95 hours of battery life and five tactile buttons.
I’ve been trialling the Pro X Superlight 2C for some time, and despite it being a bit too small for my hand, it’s a marvel to behold. This teeny, tiny mouse is fast, accurate, and capable, but the price might leave your eyes watering when you consider the pound for pound cost of the thing.

The ‘C’ Stands for ‘Compact’
I was told by Logitech that the ‘C’ in ‘2C’ stands for compant, and it certainly does. This dinky device will look comical in larger hands, but for someone with slender fingers and a light touch, it’s perfect and offers a phenomenal competitive edge when you need it most.
The Superlight 2C comes equipped with Logitech’s HERO 2 sensor, dubbed the ‘most advanced sensor in gaming’. It accomodates tracking at over 888 IPS and can be cranked up to a staggering 44,000 DPI. Why you’d want that, I never know – I play on around 850 most of the time and have never perfected flicking.
That being said, the mouse performs just as well when toned down for slower games where reactions aren’t necessarily as important.
I used the Pro X Superlight 2C when traveling, enjoying the fact that it took up almost no bag space and added no weight to what I was carrying, but provided LIGHTSPEED-powered connectivity and a premium touch when needed. If you’re like me and you get a little damp when gaming, you can stick on some additional grips that comes in the box to make it feel a little bulkier.
As I talk about grip, I’ll pivot to discussing the glide. The PTFE mouse feet are super smooth, and with a good mat, the Superlight 2C is like ice on ice. The LIGHTFORCE switches feel great, too. I’ve long been a fan of Logitech’s hybridized switches, and they don’t fail to disappoint in the Superlight 2C.
This is an esports mouse first and foremost, and that’s why it’s small, fast, and smooth. There are no frills here; no RGB to gaze at and only five mouse buttons, but that’s all the average pro player needs. The wireless performs remarkably well (according to Logitech) in ‘extreme RF environments’ like the ones you’d find at a LAN event, so that’s perfect.
To expand on that, I learned that Logitech had built the Superlight 2C in collaboration with the most prolific esports athletes in the world.
If you want to invest in the Pro X Superlight 2C, you’ll need to stump up $159.99, which is the only blocker I can see to this being a hugely successful mouse. While esports pro players invest in the best, it’s a little high for the average consumer to pick up, I feel.
