It’s time to dive back into the universe of A Plague Tale, though this time we’re steering away from Amicia and Hugo’s story with Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy.
Set 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem, you’ll instead play as Sophia, a young and fierce plunderer who embarks for Minotaur Island. There, you’ll face deadly trials, solve puzzles, and fight off an army hot on your tail.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is set to release on August 27, 2026.
It’s been four years since the last entry into the Plague Tale series, and Resonance is set to change the status quo for the franchise. Unlike its predecessors, this spin-off of sorts is far more of an action-adventure title, with combat playing a more prominent role.
Instead of sneaking through most encounters, you’ll be encouraged to fight back against your enemies. That said, there will still be breathtaking environments to explore, as well as an abundance of puzzles and trials to complete as you navigate the mythical Minotaur Island.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy Launch Times
Official launch times for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy haven’t yet been revealed, but judging by SteamDB, the game is set to go live at 9 AM PT.
It’s an earlier start for those of you on the West Coast, but at least you’ll be able to sink the whole day into the latest Plague Tale adventure. That said, there are bound to be fans from across the world looking to get in on the action the moment Resonance goes live, but you’ll experience different timings.
