Red Bull Announces Apex Legends Tournament

Red Bull Gaming is finally dipping its toes into the world of Apex Legends, as the popular company officially announces an Apex Legends tournament called Red Bull Legends Inn. The event will feature 38 of the world’s best Apex Legends players, taking place in Chicago, Illinois this November.

The new duo’s tournament will not only feature some of the top players in the Apex competitive scene but will also feature popular names like iiTzTimmy and ImperialHal.

The event is invite-only, with the best Apex Legends pros in the US attending. There is a twist, however. The games will not be your traditional Apex Legends Battle Royale matches. Instead, the fans tuning in on Twitch will be able to vote on how matches are played.

From fist-fight-only rounds to restricting Legends, fans will literally get to decide how each game is played.

Those competing in the tournament will not only have the chance to win a portion of the $25,000 prize pool but will also be competing in Chicago’s iconic Godfrey Hotel.

This 16-story building has been home to plenty of events since its opening back in 2014 while also housing celebrities and more.

All competing players will have their rooms decked out in an Apex Legend theme, with the couches and more set up to resemble the popular game. Duos will also compete from 19 different rooms, with each room featuring various lighting effects and more.

To say Red Bull is going all out for this tournament is an understatement.
