Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble Development Ends Without Ever Officially Being Released

Less than a year after its reveal, Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is already being delisted. The game received a limited soft launch across handpicked countries for testing, but the game won’t go any further.

Chances are, you might not even have heard of Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble. It’s a mobile-only Ratchet and Clank game, with Insomniac only on board in a supervisory capacity. A new announcement indicates it’s being delisted and will be unavailable from 2027.

Here’s the official statement on the R&C: Ranger Rumble’s future:

‘We’ve made the difficult decision to cease development on Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble.

The final planned update will be rolling out on November 6, 2026, and the app will be removed from stores on November 21, 2026.

Players who have already have the game will be to continue playing until May 1, 2027, when the game’s servers will be permanently shut down.

On behalf of the dev team and everyone helping to make the game, thanks to our amazing community for all your support, especially to those who have spent time playing, sharing feedback, and helping shape Ranger Rumble throughout its development.’

It was never given an official release date and was only in light testing across select countries.

So, if you want to give it a go before it’s officially pulled from stores for good, now’s your chance to try it.
