PS Plus Essential February Games Revealed, Leak Claims

In a reported leak, the line-up of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games arriving hand-in-hand with the PS Plus Essential subscription in February has been revealed. This news dropped on Twitter, pushed out by user @billbil_kun, a prominent leaker who regularly drops PS Plus information.

There’s a solid selection heading to PlayStation consoles everywhere, covering a relatively wide variety of genres despite being a collection of just four games.

PS Plus (is) Essential For Gamers

These are the four games reportedly heading to PS Plus Essential in February, according to @billbil_kun on Twitter:

  • OlliOlli World – PS4 and PS5
  • Mafia Definitive Edition – PS4
  • Evil Dead The Game – PS4 and PS5
  • Destiny 2 Beyond Light (DLC) – PS4 and PS5

However, billbil_kun stated that other titles may replace Mafia Definitive Edition or extra, bonus titles may be added in some regions.

It’s a decent line-up, made worthwhile by Mafia Definitive Edition alone. This ground-up remake of the 2002 PlayStation 2 title was a faithful and painstaking recreation, delivered with a high level of quality that truly made it feel like an entirely new game while still retaining the Mafioso charm of the original title.

Elsewhere, OlliOlli World is a fun enough game, even if it doesn’t offer much depth, and Evil Dead The Game is barely a year old and bundles of entertainment for fans of the cult classic horror franchise. And then, Destiny 2: Beyond Light… If you’re a Destiny 2 fan, then it’s an easy win.

Not bad – but remember that, at present, this is just a rumoured line-up.
