Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 Coming to Consoles in 2026

PC players have had the pleasure (or displeasure, depending on how squeamish you are) of playing Poppy Playtime Chapter 5. The fifth chapter had a lot of build-up, and now it’s time for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo owners to taste the terror.

For a game with characters called Huggy Wuggy and Kissy Missy, Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 is quite fear-inducing, all things considered. The hit horror game continues to transcend its indie roots, and the fifth—and final (?) chapter—is console-bound.

The news all you Poppy Playtime fans have been waiting for is official: Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 comes to PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch on May 27.

A press release has confirmed that Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox platforms will be on the receiving end of the launch—and I’m sure this applies to Xbox One and Switch 2 owners as well.

The game’s senior director of creative, George Krstic, said this in a press release:

“We’re excited to finally bring Chapter 5 to console players. This chapter pushed us creatively in a lot of ways, both narratively and atmospherically, and we can’t wait for a whole new audience to experience what’s waiting inside the factory.”

Take a look at the trailer below to see what awaits in Chapter 5—if you dare.
