Pokémon Pokopia continues to be a smash success on the Nintendo Switch 2.
Pokémon Pokopia, the new Pokémon spin-off, is a cross between a farming sim and a city builder, and has already made history as the highest-rated Pokémon game on Metacritic. It’s also already one of the highest-rated games of 2026. Now, Nintendo has shared news about the game’s global sales, marking even greater success.
Pokémon Pokopia Sells Over 2 Million Copies
Nintendo revealed in a press release that Pokémon Pokopia sold over 2.2 million copies in just 4 days on the market. The game launched on March 5.
“The Pokémon Company (HQ: Tokyo, Minato-ku, Japan; President and CEO: Tsunekazu Ishihara) and Nintendo Co., Ltd. (HQ: Kyoto, Minami-ku, Japan; President and Representative Director: Shuntaro Furukawa, “Nintendo” hereafter) announced today that global sales of Pokémon Pokopia for the Nintendo Switch 2 system have surpassed 2.2 million units (including 1 million units sold in Japan) in the first four days since its worldwide launch on March 5, 2026*.”
